Hace años , todo el mundo decía lo mismo en las competiciones internacionales…Somos muy superiores, individualmente, técnicamente somos mejores, bla bla bla….pero de cuartos de final no pasabamos….Equipo luchador( la furia española decían), pero nunca ganador.Unas veces se llegaba más arriba,otras menos, basado básicamente en alguna genialidad de grandes jugadores.
Desde que entró como entrenador LUIS ARAGONÉS, el fútbol de España cambió. Lo primero que hizo fue cargarse a un intocable: RAÚL.Se generó un debate nacional.A partir de ahí los egos de las estrellas se apagaron y se empezó a pensar como un equipo….los resultados están a la vista.Esto ya se ha traspasado a los clubs…Llegan jugadores,por ejemplo al Real Madrid, polémicos,super egocéntricos, como el francés y se ponen humildes y dicen que van a aportar al EQUIPO.
El Club(Real Madrid) ya se ha cargado a estrellas como C.Ronaldo por creerse que el jugador está por encima del club y ya vemos cómo le ha ido..
Hoy en día el Real Madrid maneja muchas super estrellas, muchos jugadores con Mundial, Eurocopas, champions y no levantan la voz y trabajan para el equipo.
El único que no lo hizo fue el Barsa con Messi y el resultado ha sido la quiebra económica y social del club.
Los aficionados estamos acostumbrados a oír de los rivales lo buenos que son, la mala suerte que tienen,pero luego pierden.
Esa es la filosofía de hoy en día en el fútbol español…
Con un equipo desconocido para el mundo, campeones de Europa y con otro equipo diferente,medalla de oro olimpico en fútbol y ahora detrás vienen las mujeres, campeonas de todo…Suerte?…no lo creo.

I was thinking why England went to defensive mode after they scored. Is it an England idea or a Southgate habit? Was Southgate influenced by his bosses and top supporters to go to defensive mode? Shoulda gone for the kill. This is what's lacking in England, to constantly press, to be feared, to flow like Spain, France, Netherlands. England needs at least one aggressive player, a fighter, a striker, mad like Rooney was. The current crop are pretty boys, just playing casual football, apparently seeming to be fearful or their big money contracts, or worse, getting hurt and not playing for some time. Hopefully, the next England manager is a top level guy who's not afraid of attacking and yelling at his boys.

Watching this video and knowing that in most countries they still don't understand football well. Spain won and will continue to win because they understand and interpret team football better. Without having the best individuals, it makes the difference.

It's kind of strange that England are receiving a much higher level of criticism for losing a final 2-1 to Spain than Italy ever got for being annihilated 4-0 by Spain in the 2012 final.
